For all smart lighting fixtures, every time the battery kit is replaced, the battery kit needs to be re-paired with the Zigbee controller within the software Polaris Config, so that the battery can be recognized by the AWLCS and conduct automatic battery test.
Emergency Battery Lighting
*The battery kit can still function properly, i.e., lights on during power failure, even if it is not connected to the AWLCS.
For smart lighting, if the controller or driver is replaced, re-mapping and re-pairing the controller and driver into the system (AWLCS) are necessary. Otherwise, the lighting fixture will light up in full brightness mode and cannot be controlled via the AWLCS, also the energy consumption data cannot be obtained. If the backbone is replaced, means both controllers and drivers are replaced at the same time, therefore both re-mapping controller and re-pairing driver in the AWLCS are required.
